LOOK INSIDE PLACE

While much of my early work dealt with embodying the digital through finger focused automation Look Inside Place was my first major step to invert that focus: to create a fully virtual space fingers could only experience through the touch of keys. It was a map of maps, a representation of representations, a place of places. The small girl who lives in Look Inside Place is controlled by the viewer.

Here it is installed at my MFA show.
