Strategic Vision

Protein engineering is a high-stakes, data-dense domain where biochemists juggle massive datasets across fragmented legacy tools. The challenge was to architect a unified platform that didn't just 'display' AI-generated protein models, but integrated them into a live, collaborative research ecosystem. I was tasked with defining the product's foundation, balancing scientific rigor with an intuitive, scalable system architecture that could accelerate the journey from hypothesis to drug discovery.

Impact

  • Conducted initial viability research and design for an AI-enabled protein engineering platform including problem framing, market and user research

  • Research and prototyping drove further investment and product design direction
